Cationic Black Dye : Classic, Deep, Even, And Versatile

In the textile industry, black is a classic. Cationic black dye has been the first choice for dyeing of acrylic and modified polyester fibers owing to its deep shade, good hiding power and high colour fastness.

Core Features: Produces a pure, deep black with no color weeds or mottling. It has good fastness to washing, rubbing and sunlight. It is known for its stable dyeing performance. It is normally prepared by mixing Cationic Tender Yellow 7GL, Red 2GL and Brilliant Blue RL.

Applications: For apparel (acrylic sweaters/coats), workwear (protective clothing), home textile (blankets/curtains) and plush toys.

Important processing notes:
Temperature Control:- Dyed under pressure at 100C (to avoid unevenness and to reduce the time) Or Used at constant 85-95C till exhaustion and then at 100C.
pH Control: Ideally at 3.5-5.5 (preferably near 4.5) via acetic acid and sodium acetate. If the pH is too high, uneven dyeing or discoloration will take place. If the pH is too low, the exhaustion and fastness will be reduced.
Auxiliaries & Water Quality: Urea for color depth improvement for deep shades, Leveling agent TAN to avoid dark spots. Water quality should be controlled so that the color shade is not shifted by metal impurities.
