Types of Direct Dyes

Anionic direct dyes

Cationic direct dyes

Non-ionic direct dyes

Step 2: Choose your style/s + wash for your custom dye

Step 3: Once the custom dye form is filled out and submitted,We will email back with a quote
Once the quote is approved, we will process payment and proceed with production.
Usual turnaround time is 2-3 weeks (weekends not included) and after production is completed, we will do a full count and general qc check, then reach back out via email to go over shipping details.

Q: What is the payment term?

Q: What is the lead time?

A: We have stock for most of the reqular items, can arrange shipment within 2 weeks.
If you have special requirement, we can try best to cooperate with you to ship cargo as early as possible.

Q: How to control your quality?

A: We have standard for each of our product, we test the quality during the production process and also the final product to make sure the quality is similar as our standard. We can provide pre-shipment sample before the shipment for your testing, and ship the same cargo to you after you approve the pre-shipment sample.

Q: Are direct dyes permanent?

A: They can be semi-permanent or permanent. They are classified as semi-permanent colors because they do not penetrate the hair shaft. They only coat the hair surface. This means that with every wash, they fade. Permanent colors, on the other hand, penetrate and chemically react with the hair to produce permanent colors.

Q: What is the difference between direct dye and reactive dye?

A: Ans: Direct dyes are water-soluble dyes that directly dye fibers without needing a mordant, suitable for natural fibers like cotton. Reactive dyes, on the other hand, form covalent bonds with fibers, making them ideal for cellulosic and protein fibers.

Q: Are azo dyes direct dyes?

A: The most easily applied azo dyes are those designated as direct: they contain chemical substituents that make them soluble in water, and they are absorbed from solution by cotton.
